The winter look of the house.Windows of kitchen and living room. In winter we enjoy the wood stove you can see burning just under the middle wood of the door. Send us an email if you like in CONTACT or the little envelop right up
Summer look of the central yard. A typical Belgian way of building farms around a square. Life in a Square Farm is oriented towards the center and it is miraculous we may harvest thousands of kiwi's every year!
The central kitchen for being together . Cooking is important to have cheap and good meals. We share sometimes a basket of organic vegetables or skip in containers Here is a central heating .
The Farmhouse was build in 1900. Without any plans or architects this was a good job. You can see the tall walls have no faults. Valentine bought the house in june 2000 and we moved in after one month with 3 persons. A first bathroom and kitchen were installed and the central heating in September. More than 12 years later things have evolved and the Barn has been arranged for appartments too. Although the house looks simple we have double glass everywhere and continue isolating (10-12 cm) as much as possible walls and roofs
Bathroom with Tadelakt wall and double shower is very romantic.
The wood stove is also connected to the central heating. Nothing can be more healing for a stressed soul than staring in the fire...
